Running a restaurant or cloud kitchen in Mumbai means thin margins, daily cash, and a stack of platform settlements that never quite match your POS. LMS FinTax provides monthly accounting, GST compliance and management reporting built specifically for food businesses across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai, from single-outlet cafés to groups running two to fifteen outlets or several delivery-only brands from one kitchen.
We focus on the numbers that decide whether an outlet survives: food cost, aggregator commission, packaging, rent and staff cost as a share of sales. Every month you get closed books and a short report showing where money went, outlet by outlet.
What's included
- Monthly bookkeeping: sales from your POS, purchases from vendors, expenses, bank and UPI receipts recorded and reconciled every month.
- Swiggy and Zomato settlement reconciliation: each payout matched to orders, with commission, discounts, packaging charges, penalties and platform deductions separated so you can see what the platform really costs you.
- Outlet-wise and brand-wise P&L: cost centres for every outlet and virtual brand, so a profitable location does not hide a loss-making one.
- Food-cost tracking: purchases compared with sales by category to show food cost percentage and flag leakage early.
- GST compliance: GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing, the GST treatment we confirm for your sales through delivery platforms, and reconciliation of platform-reported figures with your returns.
- TDS, TCS and payroll support: TDS on rent and contractor payments, tracking amounts deducted by aggregators, and monthly salary workings for kitchen and service staff.
- Cash-flow planning: a simple weekly view of upcoming rent, vendor and salary payments against expected settlements.
Why restaurant accounting is different
Posting the net aggregator payout as sales understates revenue, hides commission and discount costs, and makes your GST and income tax figures harder to defend. Restaurant GST also has its own rules, and they can change how you should look at pricing and vendor choices. We'll confirm the GST treatment that applies to your setup.
Delivery adds another layer. Orders placed through Swiggy or Zomato still need to be reported correctly, and any amounts the platform collects or deducts must be tracked and matched against your tax statements and GST portal. We build this reconciliation into the monthly close rather than leaving it for the year end.
How we work
| Cadence | What you get |

| Monthly | Closed books, GST returns, aggregator reconciliation, outlet P&L and food-cost summary, with a short review call. |
| Quarterly | Advance tax estimate, TDS returns, and a review of outlet performance and pricing. |
| Yearly | Financial statements and income tax return, ready for your bank or investors. |
